SEAMSEAL BR

SEAMSEAL BR Solvent release rubber bedding sealant, which forms a tight elastic seal. Very good adhesion to a number of building materials. APPLICATIONS Suitable for bedding aluminium window frames into timber subframes; sealing seams in joints and ductwork; roofing and cladding sealing where a thin joint is required e.g. flashings; sealing profiled foams filler and general bedding and joint sealing in automotive, leisure and boat building. Good performance in low movement joints Excellent weather sealing properties Capable of accommodating some movement Adheres well to a wide variety of surfaces Good resistance to mould Good resistance to dilute acids and alkalis Remains pliable once cured PROPERTIES Application temperature range: +5°C to +30°C rate of cure will depend on ambient temperature and relative humidity. Priming: Primers are not normally required for good adhesion to most non-porous surfaces. Shelf life: 12 months in unopened packaging when stored in cool, dry conditions. Skinning time: An initial skin will form after approximately 4 hours. Working time: Tooling can be carried out with a wet spatula within 10 minutes of application. INSTRUCTIONS Joint design: Please consult the Technical Information Sheet entitled ‘Joint design for cartridge based products’ prior to application. Surface preparation: All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from frost, grease and loose materials. Apply primer if required. In situations where an especially neat finish is required, use masking tape to cover the face edges of the joint and remove immediately once tooling has been completed Cut the top of the screw thread off the cartridge and screw on the nozzle. Cut nozzle to correct diameter for joint size. Apply using a skeleton or powered gun into the joint ensuring good contact with surfaces. TITEBOND 111 16oz ULTIMATE WOOD GLUE

From Franklin of USA, described as an APP (Advanced Proprietary Polymer), Titebond III has been formulated as a dedicated wood glue to give you the ease of application of aliphatic/PVAs and the water resistance of polyurethane glues. Making an exceptionally strong bond on wood-to-wood joints, it has longer open time and higher viscosity than conventional PVAs and will maintain integrity at lower application temperatures. All of which makes for easier and less fraught assembly procedures. Polyurethane glue has undoubted flexibility of use and massive strength but is a very persistent adhesive, difficult to clean up from equipment and particularly hands. Titebond III has been designed to give you the strength of wood-to-wood bonds without the problems. It cleans up with water whilst wet, sands off without softening when fully cured, is unaffected by finishes, solvent and heat and is mildew resistant. It is suitable for interior and exterior use.
